Footnotes:

1
The manufacturer of the model to be registered should have signed the EICTA industry self-commitment, and should no be noted for failing to meet the self commitment (according to article 5.3 of the self commitment).
2 Factory default automatically switching to standby-passive after 30 minutes of inactivity.
3 See Annex B of the Code of Conduct for Digital TV Service Systems.

4 • Units with external power supply: The power supply should comply with EU "Code of Conduct on Energy Efficiency of External Power Supplies" Version 2, phase 2 - see below - full doc. here

Rated Output Power (Pno)
Minimum Four Point Average or 100 % Load Efficiency in Active Mode (expressed as a decimal) *
0 < W < 1
< 0.49 * Pno
1 < W < 49
< [0.09 * Ln (Pno)] + 0.49 **
49 < W < 150
< 0.84
*. Ln” refers to the natural logarithm. The algebraic order of operations requires that the natural logarithm calculation be performed first and then multiplied by 0.09, with the resulting output added to 0.5. An efficiency of 0.85 in decimal form corresponds to the more familiar value of 85% when expressed as a percentage
** Power supplies that have a power factor correction (PFC) to comply with EN61000-3-2 (above 75 W input power) have a an 0.04 allowance, accordingly the minimum on mode load efficiency is 0.80

5

6 For high definition, MPEG4 and multi decode platforms

7 manufacturer guarantees that the box switches to standby-passive after a manufacturer factory set default time without any user activity (unless overwritten by the user).

8 the allowance of 4 W is for simple converters for High Definition TV Services (both standard and high definition output)

9 The allowance of 4 W is for simple converters for High Definition TV Services (both standard and high definition output)

10 Additional power allowance in sleep and standby for WOL: 0.7 W. All computers, regardless of distribution channel, shall have the ability to enable and disable WOL for sleep mode.
